Company principal Johanna MacDonald, APR, is a highly motivated individual with over 15 years experience assisting governments, businesses, and not-for profits to meet their communications needs. Johanna uses her skill and training in all aspects of public relations and organizational communications to ensure that clients benefit from a broad-spectrum, innovative approach to their communications challenges.

Johanna's qualifications include a Public Relations Diploma from the Mount Royal College and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Alberta. She has also earned Accreditation (APR designation) in public relations from the Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS), an organization of public relations professionals who practice in Canada and abroad. CPRS members work to maintain the highest standards in public relations and subscribe to the CPRS code of ethics. Johanna is also an active member of the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce.

Personally, Johanna’s lifelong values include a belief in balancing personally challenging work and life activities, being open to reasonable risk, and considering the impact of outcomes on others.

Johanna has established an extensive network of highly skilled professionals upon which she draws to coordinate and customize the perfect team for each client’s specific requirements. JM&A’s network of professionals includes photographers, web designers, graphic artists, printers, researchers, and others.
